7800GTX -> GTX280

I remember the day I got the 7800GTX, the world's fastest card at the time, and being very impressed with the sheer size of the thing. Now, 2 and a half years later I purchase the current top of the line card, and wow.... what a beast! This thing chews through Crysis at 1920 x 1200 and ALL settings at very high, with absolutely no problems at all. BTW, finished Crysis in 2 days. Amazing looking game, but falls off at the end with all the alien shit. Bring on FarCry 2 I say!!

Apparently this tape contains the first ever software sold by Apple Inc. I guess this is where it all started. I wonder how many of those (tapes), it takes to hold a copy of Leopard and how long it would take to install!

Apple Genius?

So I spent 40 minutes today with an 'Apple Genius', trying to sort out a warranty repair for an iPod nano. It got to a point where I voiced my frustration with it taking so long, and said I had hoped my first Apple retail experience would been a good one. 2 minutes later he pulled out a brand new iPod, gave it to me, apologised for taking so long and I was on my way.

Turns out my first Apple retail experience was an awesome one! Way to go Apple.

Somethink drives me crazy, virtually more than anythink else in this world. This think might be obvious to you if you managed to complete year 3 english, yet it has to be one of the most incorrectly pronounced words of all time. FFS people.... there is no K on the end of the words 'something', 'anything', 'everything' or THING!!!!!

Life With My New iPhone

I've had my new 3G iPhone for almost a week and think it's bloody fantastic. I had a 2G iPhone for almost a year before this one, but all the little improvements really add up to a much better experience. The proper headphone jack, the 'always on' internet, the app store, not having to crack the software... the list goes on!

Being able to blog while on the move is something new and easy; bit of an online journal ftw.

Anyways, I am off to watch Indiana Jones on the long journey home.
